11/2 - Fitness & Nutritional Update

Weight = 158

Not a great day. I was in training, & had way too many snacks & overall greatly exceeded my calories. I also didn't wake up an hour early (as planned) in order to get a workout in. Tomorrow has to be a better day!

  1. I don't know if this makes you feel better or not, but the first two months I was on my weight loss program - I hardly lost anything. I remember being so freakin' frustrated that I was working so hard and really eating well and the pounds were not falling off.
    By the time the third month rolled around, I actually really did shed the pounds. I couldn't believe it. It was like my body finally agreed to the program. I fell off the wagon for a few weeks because of illness and injury and I hardly gained anything - in fact, if anything I kept on losing.
    I think it was because I spent the first two months getting my metabolism set, building muscle - that sort of thing. I think the key to success is to just keep going, going, going - even if you don't see immediate results. Keep eating right (low cal) keep exercising (important for metabolism), and drink that water and get sleep (studies have shown that you won't lose weight unless you get 7-8 hours of sleep a night).

    I'm looking forward to dropping another pant size here in the next month - it is killing me to get back on my program but I'm excited to achieve this goal!!
